I have 18 years of design experience, 15 of which are specifically in the Kitchen and Bath industry. I have worked at two showrooms which provided me with invaluable experience, essential to launching my own business.

I have my Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer designation, AKBD, through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. To earn AKBD certification, you must:

• Document a minimum of two years of industry experience

• Successfully complete 20 NKBA education hours

• Submit two professional affidavits

• Pass the written AKBD academic exam

NKBA certified designers must also meet mandatory continuing education requirements annually

In addition to my studies through NKBA, I have taken several design courses at Fairfield University and have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
